English
1. Scope and Provider
This policy applies to the iOS app “Just Run” (the “App”), provided by independent developer Shaolie Lin. For privacy questions or rights requests, contact l_charlie@163.com.
2. Data We Process
- On-device data: favorites, recently played tracks, play counts, playback mode and speed, sleep-timer settings, and app preferences are primarily stored locally to provide music playback and history.
- Analytics data: app launches, screen and feature interactions, playback-setting actions, ad requests and outcomes, purchase outcomes, and technical information such as app version, device type, and operating-system version may be processed by Google Analytics for Firebase. Google may also automatically process an app-instance identifier and technical information.
- Advertising and connectivity data: Google Mobile Ads and its partners may process ad requests, impressions, clicks, device or advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location, network information, and diagnostics for ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention. The App also sends lightweight connectivity checks to Google service endpoints to diagnose ad-network reachability; these requests include information ordinarily needed for a network request, such as an IP address. Processing depends on region, device, and Google settings.
- Purchase data: Apple processes product identifiers, transaction status, and receipts for the one-time remove-ads purchase and purchase restoration. The App’s receipt-validation request also sends your device’s identifierForVendor (IDFV) to Apple.
- Support data: if you email us, we process the email address, message, device and operating-system details, and attachments you choose to provide so we can respond.
No account is required. The App does not request access to contacts, photos, camera, microphone, location, or health data, and does not record running routes, distance, or fitness metrics. Do not send passwords, complete payment details, or unnecessary sensitive information by email.
3. Local Data and Audio
The App includes its music catalog and track information. Favorites, recently played items, play counts, playback preferences, and related track metadata are stored in a local database. User-initiated audio may continue in the background, and system media controls may display the current track and control playback. The App does not ask you to upload your own music files.
4. Third-Party Services
- Google Analytics for Firebase helps us understand app launches, feature interactions, and advertising-related events.
- Google Mobile Ads provides in-app advertising and may process device, advertising, network, and diagnostic information for ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention. The App also sends lightweight connectivity checks to Google service endpoints to diagnose ad-network reachability; those requests include ordinary network request information such as an IP address.
- Apple App Store / StoreKit processes product information, payment, purchase restoration, and transaction status. The App sends the app receipt and IDFV to Apple’s verification service to validate the remove-ads entitlement. We do not receive your full card details.
These providers process information under their own policies: Google’s Privacy Policy, Firebase Privacy and Security, and Apple’s Privacy Policy.
5. Advertising Choices
Ad type and personalization may depend on applicable law, region, device and Google settings, and your choices. You can manage tracking permissions and available advertising choices in iOS Privacy & Security settings. Where the App presents an advertising consent or privacy-options interface in your region, you may also manage choices there. Limiting personalized advertising does not necessarily remove ads. You may purchase Apple’s one-time remove-ads option.
6. Retention, Deletion, and Your Rights
- Local track data and preferences generally remain until you clear them in the App, reset device data, or uninstall the App. Uninstalling usually deletes the local database; device backups may include App data depending on your Apple and iCloud settings.
- Analytics, advertising, and technical logs are retained by the relevant providers according to operational, security, contractual, and legal requirements.
- Apple retains purchase and transaction records under its policies. The App stores only the on-device status needed to provide the remove-ads entitlement.
- You may email us to exercise applicable access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection rights. For data independently controlled by Apple or Google, you may need to use their privacy tools or contact them directly.
7. Sharing and Sale
We do not sell your local favorites or playback history. Necessary information may be processed by the providers above for analytics, advertising, purchase handling and validation, support, security, and legal compliance. Information may also be disclosed when legally required, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer.
8. Children
The App is not specifically directed to children and does not knowingly request real-world identity information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child sent personal information to us by email may contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
9. Security and International Processing
We use safeguards appropriate to the App’s scale and the nature of the data, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure. Google, Apple, or email providers may process data outside your country under their policies, contracts, and applicable law.
10. Changes and Contact
We may update this policy when App features, service providers, or legal requirements change and will post the new effective date here. Privacy questions and rights requests: l_charlie@163.com.
